Tylocidaris clavigera. This complete Upper Cretaceous echinoid spine (radiole) is from the M. coranguinum Zone, Lower Santonian Stage, Upper Chalk that occurs at Cliffs End, Pegwell Bay, Kent, UK. It is circa 80 million years old. The spine measures approx. 20mm in length. A fine display fossil with quality preservation. I have never seen complete sea urchin of this type from this location, so this inexpensive fossil  would make a great addition to anyones collection.
