This is a lovely museum quality Dragonfly larva specimen indeed at 17mm in length, situated on matrix measuring  80 x 50mm across and 3mm thick. It has great definition, showing lovely colour and detail on the head, thorax and legs. It is circa 10 million years old from the Upper Miocene of Vittoria d'Alba, Cuneo, Italy.
